saw the video for APie last nite...i like madonna, but that was the worst
thing i have ever seen her do.  just awful.  completely souless music and the
whole video was her practically looking off camera to get the cue to shake
her tits.  Okay....NOW!  seriously the ENTIRE video was her looking awkward
and heaving her boobs into the camera.  i have no idea how the song connects
to the movie or her career, and i don't think she did either.   truly the
worst thing i have ever seen her do by a long shot, just plain ALL WRONG,
completely empty.

it sucked so, or hearing it 45 times a day, I was unable to tell.
I got the single as a gift back in the day, just so I could smash it
demonically and gleefully to pieces. But hearing the Material
Girl's (who I like OK, though I'm tired of the Austin Powers
dance move she seems 2B stuck on) version actually makes me
appreciate McLean's sincerity, at least. MG sounds like she's
reading the back of a cereal box (which is just how I'd sound if
forced to do such an unfullfillingly masturbatory piece of crap).
Interestingly, it was correctly pointed out to me that if you listen
carefully the best thing you'll hear on this version are Rupie's
background vocals...kind of melancholic Jan & Dean stylee...
