I haven't seen her on a regular tour date for the latest album(Armed to
the Teeth).  She started using horns about two albums ago, on Little
Plastic Castles.  I saw her about two weeks ago in Harrisburg, but it
was kind of a disappointment.  She hardly played anything from the newer
albums.  Greg Brown and Gillian Welch were also on the ticket.  GB was
OK, but GW didn't thrill me.  Also, I expected it to be a mostly-Ani
show. The other two had equal, if not more, time onstage than she did,
so I got a little bored and went to hang out and smoke cigarrettes in
the bathroom with all the other bored Ani fans.  (Until the security
guard came in and told us to put them out. It was a little like a
high-school assembly)
