Count me as one 44-year-old Ani DeFranco fan. I first saw her at an outdoor
festival in about 1991, when she had just one cassette tape for sale. I
don't fit into her aware/concerned/pissed-off femme demographic, but I like
her wit and insight and she's spunky as all get out. Anybody that's sassy as
she is, is all right with me! Seen her several times in concert in recent
years and love her techno-folk direction.
