Anthony,
Thanks for posting the complete set of Hunter's photos. There are several
shots that I think are really great, although on a few of them I found
myself wishing that the damn mike wasn't in the way. One of the things that
I like about this collection is that it's shot in the daytime. The clarity
of most of the images are very good. And the colors are superb, especially
some down towards the end of the collection with combination of the reds and
the blues. Some of photos almost remind me of being inside that spaceship
Patti sings so fervently about in Birdland.
Regards,
Peter

I just updated some photos at the picture gallery that were posted a year
ago of
Patti and the band at the Roskilde Festival, in Denmark, in July 2001. The
photographer, Hunter Desportes, had a whole bunch of photos from that
concert that
he hadn't posted at his website, so I gathered all of those he sent me plus
those
he had up and put them all in one place at the gallery. I love the great
colors,
sharpness and vividness of the pictures (a virtue of today's digicams), and
there
are some great shots of the crowd as well (often overlooked when taking
photos at
a concert): that's Hunter in a couple of them, btw, thanks to the Nikon
swivel
lens (not from the new Nikon CP2500 but an earlier model with similar
features).
