I think its wonderful Roky is bouncing back from such shameless
treatment----for a joint he had to plead insanity. Bad move, as far as his
brain is concerned.
Too bad he got caught--in the 60s a seed could send you to prison. Absurd.
I'd love to see this film--the 13th Floor Elevators were an amazing band!

Actually the film is about Roky Erickson. His stint in the 13th
Floor Elevators is just one part of the flick. Keven has turned in
a brilliant piece of work - harrowing, sympathetic, and yet
completely unblinking in telling Roky's story, but don't go see it
just for Patti as she's in it for just a minute or two.
BTW, for anyone who cares, Roky's come a long, long way; turning in a
terrific, forceful show at last month's Austin City Limits Festival.
