Yeah, like here in Seattle, an SPD officer was quoted as saying 'we pretty
much look the other way unless they blow it in our faces!'

But, alas, they still bust people.
Go for the small potatoes across the board.
Don't try to sting a drug lord--go for the sick junkie!

And in the big picture, can we please stop supporting countries that SUPPLY us
with these drugs we have a 'war' on? Oh wait....that's not how its done now is
it. The rich don't get richer THAT way!!!!!!

  Actually it's not the whole country anymore that locks people up for long
periods of time for possession of pot.  It's on a state by state basis and by
how much you get caught holding.  Like Michigan has basically a zero tolerance
policy but in other states it's basically a fine.  It's better not to over
generalize.
