We wanted to give you the head's up on 2 TV appearances Michael will be
making this week. Both should be very special; we hope you'll have a
chance to tune in:
ICONOCLASTS AT 10PM TONIGHT ON SUNDANCE CHANNEL
Tonight, at 10pm, Michael will appear alongside Chef Mario Batali in "Batali
on Stipe," episode five of the Sundance Channel's acclaimed six-part
series, Iconoclasts. The Sundance Channel says: "In this episode,
award-winning restaurateur and Food Network Iron Chef Mario Batali
serves up a tribute to Michael Stipe, founding member of rock band
R.E.M. and one of the first alternative rockers to achieve mainstream
success. Stipe is now almost as well known for his social and
political activism as he is for his music."
AUSTIN CITY LIMITS ON PBS
Last week, Michael joined Coldplay for 2 songs during their hour-long taped
concert for Austin City Limits. PBS will air the performance on Saturday,
December 17th. In the meantime, you can watch a sneak preview by
clicking here. Be sure to check the same link for air times in your
