Re: Jimmy Page, OBE (NRP)

Think ol' Queenie is moving to the Dark Side?! HAHA! She better stop wearing
that tired old blue dress and hat then and start wearing a hoodwink!
!!!!! ;-) (Can you imagine?.....!)

Jimmy isn't into Crowley anymore, he's moved on, as have I--although I do have
an autographed album, "Outrider", his signature curiously fashioned for the
time he WAS a Crowleyite into looking like the greeting "93 93/93", 93 being
(according to Gematria--the ancient numerology of Solomon, who plays a big
part in the Golden Dawn and its offshoots) the number of Thelema, or
"Will"--which AC's "religion" is based on. Its a cool signature!

You can read about Thelema here:

http://oto-usa.org/about_thelema.html

Jimmy's later work with children should be commended, and though he didn't get
Knighthood (now THAT would be something, to quote Sir Paul--or "Usurp All" as
I 'fondly' refer to him in my well-known wordplay!) he HAS brought alot of
income into the UK, which is why most folks who get these awards get them,
even though other reasons are always sited. Them Beatles got their MBE's back
in the 60s for bringing in revenue, and Lizzie's gang said as much, then. I
love that one of the reasons John gave for giving his back later on was "Cold
Turkey slipping down on the charts"! THAT must've made Miss Lizzie dizzy--as
was its intention!

Or IS what Page got a Knighthood? Is he now "Sir Jimmy"?! HA! Funny, that, if
tis true!
Not knowing all about the Brit's awards, I'm not sure!

Thanks for the info--I'm going to research this further! (And Crowley's estate
was called "Bolskine House" for those interested.)

XO-Glenna

OBE to the guy who lived in Aleistair Crowley's castle on Loch Ness! With
his

Queen Honors Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page

LONDON (AP) -- Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has been honored by Queen
Elizabeth II - but the award was for his work with poor Brazilian children
  rather than his music.
