Re: A little Hey, Joe history & now Gloria

OMG, a little Louie is enough Louie!

I think every band in the 60's and 70's played "Hey, Joe". I'd swear that I
even heard some kicker band on the old Utah Carl tv show (every Sunday
afternoon) playing it.
That mighta been the same band with the lead gittar player who'd play it
behind his back, between his legs, behind his neck, with his teeth, using the
sole of his boot as a slide. A WHITE dude!! :D That was prolly around
'65'ish.

I wonder how "Roadrunner" and "Johnny B. Goode" line up with covers too.

So what's been covered more......Hey Joe or Louie Louie (which Patti has
  also done)?

I remember many years ago a station here in the Bay Area had an "All Louie
  Louie" weekend!
