While there WAS a bogus Fleetwood Mac in the early
'70's, there has never been a bogus Kinks.  The real
Kinks stayed together consistently until the early
'90's.  The fake Mac came about during a time when the
real Mac didn't want to tour, so their manager stole
the name, claiming HE owned it.
