PEORIA - Memorial Day ceremonies on Soldier Hill in Springdale
Cemetery will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Springdale Cemetery with
Marine veterans from World War II, Korea and Iraq as speakers.
The program is co-sponsored by the Soldier Hill Volunteers and the
U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. [snip]
Patti Smith will sing the National Anthem and Dr. Robert DeGise will
lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Pride of Peoria Barbershop Chorus will present a medley of patriotic
songs and the program will end with Allgaier's playing "Taps" and
"Amazing Grace" sung by Susie Woo.
