Seena, thanks for the YouTube link. What a gawdawful lipsynching performance,
but it's still way kewl :)
Frank, I saw plenty of The Greats and am in awe of your seeing Love/Arthur
Lee. WOW!
Like plenty of people my age, I first heard of them through their hit,
"Little Red Book"...a Burt Bacharach song, in fact, I think :) ...that was
the great thing about radio "back then"...it played some of EVERY kind of
music. GAWD, it was such a rich era for music. I had all three of their
"official" albums, now only have "Forever Changes", and I think that the copy
I have now is my second or third record, having worn the others down!
I've had Love on my mind for a few months now, especially "Forever Changes".
I've gone through this phase off and on forever (no pun intended), but I
wonder if this latest wasn't a portending of sorts. I have had Deja Vu
before, and it can be unsettling.
I'd even written up the DVD for "Forever Changes" in my Live Journal

Ahhh, that "ol' rock'nroll band in heaven", as Rick Nelson sang about (I
think)
