Russo Squared at CBGB (Plus Rodney)

As CBGB's expiration date draws near <http://www.cbgb.com%20> , a number
of the veteran club's alumni will return for one final performance. As
previously reported, this Thursday longtime Wetlands employee---and
current CBGB staffer---Rodney Speed will open for Fishbone with The
Rodney Speed Experience. In addition to Speed, the cover-heavy band will
feature Joe Russo and Scott Meztger, as well as club promoter/bassist
Bill Stites. Russo will pull double duty that evening, performing with
the Rodney Speed Experience at 8 PM and with Chris Harford and Band of
Changes at CBGB's Gallery at 11 PM. Chris Harford and Band of Change
will also play a free show at 4:30 PM Wednesday at New York's Grand
Central Terminal. As of press time, CBGB's final scheduled show is Patti
Smith on October 15. Lee "Scratch" Perry will perform with Dub is a
Weapon at the club tonight.
