REM and also the Ronettes, one of Patti's faves. But
I can't help wondering about Van Halen, considering
some of the deserving acts that haven't even been on
the ballot so far, like the Moody Blues, who were far
more influential. Is the MC5 in there? I mean, Van
Halen are talented, but Hall of Fame??? I saw them
two years before their first album and again several
years later, and apparently don't get it.
