And this year, with a deep division in the Democratic 
Party over the nomination running 50-50, a whole lotta 
progressive folks are going to be walking around this
Fall after the convention feeling at least disenchanted 
and disenfranchised, to say nothing of bitter. 

So Saint Ralph has the best shot he's had since 2000 at 
scraping some scum off the top of the pond. Which is good 
for him, because even though he's had eight years to build 
something resembling a viable 3rd party, getting people 
elected, participating in debates, etc - you know, *work* - 
he apparently prefers to wait, like a vulture, for a 
bunch of disaffected quasi-liberals to be found alongside 
the road baking in the hot sun. Yum!
