netiquitte

Part of netiquitte is a set of rules like don't send personal or
off-topic messages to the whole list, and don't send short messages
with long inclusions or long signatures.  But "netiquitte" is a
shorthand for net-etiquitte, and etiquette is all about being
kind and considerate to others.  Examples:  not slamming another
person who makes a mistake or who has a different opinion.

I think it would be good if we could practice netiquitte in both
senses of the word:  obeying the rules and also being considerate.
